Early Childhood

About the Role:

We’re seeking someone who has Waldorf early childhood training (or is actively training and strongly aligned with the pedagogy), brings warmth, grounding, and a deep love for young children, and understands the importance of rhythm, imitation, and environment in early childhood. The ideal candidate embraces outdoor play, nature-based learning, and slow-tech environments, and feels confident guiding groups of young children gently and effectively. This person collaborates joyfully with colleagues and families and brings creativity, steadiness, and initiative to our growing school community.

 

Responsibilities include:

•    Lead our mixed-age EC class through a Waldorf-inspired daily rhythm
•    Create a warm, nurturing, predictable environment
•    Bring storytelling, circle, seasonal songs, and simple artistic activities
•    Guide outdoor play and nature-based learning
•    Collaborate with assistants, specialty teachers, and support staff
•    Hold strong relationships with children and their families
•    Help guide seasonal festivals, celebrations, and community events
•    Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school lif

Grades Teacher 3 & 4 Combination Class

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, imaginative, and nurturing 3rd / 4th Grade Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, creativity, and curiosity to the classroom while guiding students through a balanced curriculum that blends academic rigor with hands-on, nature-based, and wellness-focused learning.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a 3rd/4th grade combined classroom with a Waldorf-inspired approach

  • Integrating mindfulness, movement, and creative expression into daily lessons

  • Collaborating with specialty teachers and wellness practitioners to support whole-child development

  • Cultivating a love of learning through storytelling, art, nature, and practical experiences
